The U.S. Army has released America's Army--the Marksmanship Pack. The Marksmanship pack takes players to the U.S. Army's Sniper School in Fort Benning, Ga., for training missions. In order to progress to this advanced level, players must qualify as an "Expert" in the Rifle Range single-player mission. In the Army, relatively few Soldiers attain an "Expert" qualification badge, so meeting the requirements to proceed to this level in America's Army is not easy.

This package will install all currently-available official upgrades and code updates for Operation Flashpoint. Each of these files is also available separately.
REQUIRED: FULL AND ORIGINAL VERSION OF OPERATION FLASHPOINT.
HOW TO INSTALL:
Run the attached exe and it will automatically install the following files:

NEW FEATURES
* Customised faces can now be inserted for use in multi-player games, in JPG format.

* You can now move when using optics while crouched.
* You will experience reduced weapon recoil when crouching.
* It is now possible to sprint when using an ironsight view.
* Even small hand injuries now cause some weapon trembling.

* The LAW and RPG are now faster and burn most of their fuel while in the tube.

* Even if 'turned in', the gunner is now drawn in the external camera view.
* When connecting through GameSpy arcade, you can now interrupt a "waiting for server" message.

* More transfered properties in multiplayer have been added for airplanes.
* A more robust handling of the "maximum texture size" and "out of memory" conditions has been introduced.

* Guard band clipping enabled - this solves some issues with clipping sun on nVidia cards, and also increases performance on TnT family cards.

This readme outlines the functionality improvements, bug fixes and new features incorporated into the first official upgrade release. The file is available for download from www.codemasters.com/flashpoint/upgrades (and associated mirror sites). Unzip it and run the extracted .exe from any directory - it will automatically update all the necessary files.
Add-Ons (new vehicles, weapons, single and multi-player missions) will be available separately soon.
PLEASE NOTE - YOU WILL NEED YOUR ORIGINAL OPERATION FLASHPOINT DISC IN THE CD DRIVE WHEN YOU RUN THE UPGRADE .EXE - THE FILE IS COPY-PROTECTED AND WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT.
Requirements:
1) Installed release version of Operation Flashpoint (WITH ORIGINAL DISC IN CD DRIVE)
2) We recommend that all applications (including Operation Flashpoint) be closed down before running the upgrade .exe.
