Rowan's Battle of Britain is a complex sim that blends both simulation and strategy. In order to make the most of all its virtues, you need to understand the underlying features that will enhance your enjoyment of this dual purpose game.

Tutorial I: Game setup and configuration, views, the strategic directives option and operations room map symbology.

Tutorial II: How to assign a specific squadron to a specific task.

Tutorial III: Build Custom Missons.

Thanks Viking for these tutorials. It helps to make up for the lack of sufficient detail in the official manual.
I am, however, having a bit of a problem. Your description of the Controller options doesn't seem to match what appears on my screen. As the result, I am unable to follow what you are saying in your para 2 on the first page.
I don't know whether it has anything to do with it, but the movement of my mouse is distinctly sluggish on the Controller screen only. Movement on all other screens is normal.
Any idea why?

No idea. But can you describe the difference you are seeing on the screen?

Viking1,

Great article. I'd like to see more written about this sim!

I noticed you recommended a MSFF2 which I bought for this game along with CH Pro Pedals USB. I had some problems with my Logitech Force (usb). As you can see I have a lot invested in this game. It has great potential but is in need of a patch.

Ok, on to my question. What are people doing to adjust the sensitivty of this particular stick? (Microsoft Force Feedback 2)

I am not a computer guy (just a dummy pilot by trade) so a detailed and basic explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I only had my FF2 for a few weeks.

But I KNOW there is a solution to force adjustment. You may have to open and edit a text file or .ini somewhere, I just can't remember, sorry.
