Definitely better than the keyboard of a notebook computer when traveling. I got one 2 months ago - it fits in my notebook carrying case !

Well, that just sold me. I was thinking about getting one, and with the review (and the fact it fits well in a notebook case ) I'll be getting one soon!

Woohoo!

I will wait patiently for the royalty kickbacks to start streaming in!

Thanks for your comments. The highest praise a reviewer can hear is that his words directly influenced a decision either way! I am proud that you respected my opinions so much!

Okay, just picked it up. I LOVE IT!!!

One question though, is the stick on the right supposed to be 1 or 2 axis? In the setup software, it's stuck with left and right only. .

Is this right, or did I bag a defective one??

I'm gonna stick with my F22/TQS for Falcon though. . .

Never mind. Got it to work. CTFJ was conflicting. Soon as I unloaded, it worked great!

Note to all F22 owners:
Unload CTFJ (by Bob Church) or it will mess up the gamepad!!

Part of the versatility of the unit is the fact that both sticks move on the X and Y axis, and in the control panel, you may reverse which stick provides which input.

I imagine this helps lefties or those who dont want to have to release the rudder controls on a strafing mission... I dunno!

If you put F4 avionics in EASY mode, INSTANT ACTION is flyable. You'll need to program the buttons to your preference - mine was still set on defaults.

Even though the joystick are small/sensitive, I was able to land several times. Refueling was a pain though.
