Hi Robert,

I hope you don't mind me asking some follow up
questions to your answers. I would like the truth to
be heard also, if you can answer any or all of these
it would be very helpful to me in doing that.

I can help you - but please note that regardless of the
facts that happened and what I feel of certain people I
would never engage in any insulting or bad mannered
talk regarding them.

1. Since you were involved in testing 1.08 for iBeta
prior to its release in December '99, do you know if
Microprose/Hasbro Interactive was paying iBeta for
this service of closed beta testing? Were the iBeta
testers, like you, getting paid by iBeta or by
Microprose/Hasbro Interactive?

I was not paid by Microprose nor paid by iBETA.

We all (BETA testers of F4) did our BETA work for free
and with love.

Also, Glenn and Eric said to all iBETA members that
they, as iBETA company, never received a cent from
Microprose.

2. Glenn Kletzky was not involved with the Realism
Patches at all? I can remember him posting on usenet
and on flight sim forums about "his" discoveries of
the bubble.

The "bubble" as such does not exist. It was a "myth".
There is no such thing in F4.

But true, he did work with several other people on this
problem in early stages in iBETA SubGroup called
"Bubble Mafia".

What I meant when I wrote my initial sentence was that
Glenn was not involved with testing and/or making of
Realism Patches we made.

3. Do you know why Eric Marlow suddenly lost
interest in Falcon 4.0 after RP3? Was it because of
the source code issue?

I have no idea.

I honored his wish that iBETA leaves RP and we never
discussed it. Then the "Realism Patch Group" was
organized by me and Jeff with more than 90% of people
from iBETA.

4. Why did you have a "bad gut feeling" when it was
announced the Eric Marlow was the producer for
FalconV?

Gut feeling.

When there is money involved - all the fun/joy is
always gone.

5. "Because of G2 (i.e. Eric Marlow) behavior at
this time any possible help to Eric Marlow in his
(G2's) project called FalconV come into question."
Can you elaborate on this? By "this time" I assume
you're talking about the time from when he became
producer of FalconV until you folks finished RP5, is
that right? What was his behavior that made you
question helping him with Falcon V? Could you give some
examples?

While there was talk of helping making FalconV there
was suddenly complete reversal of all that was
said/agreed/promised earlier.

I also meant the deadlines imposed on both RPG and eF
team.

6. "All people (experts from RPG) who were supposed
to be involved with FalconV development resigned
because of that." I'm assuming that the people
resigned because of his behavior, right? Who were the
people? Who was involved in FalconV with G2 and who
resigned? Do you know who is still there? Who is
running G2? Eric by himself?

Yes, because of Eric's/G2 behavior (this is closely
connected to "5" above).

I am sorry but I will not reveal the names of those
people (all resigned and the group is disbanded -
nobody stayed).

All I would ever say is that Eric's behavior is the
principal reason for mass resignation of people from
that group.

As far as it is known the G2 is made of two people
(Eric as producer for FalconV and Claude as owner of
G2).

7. "I later learned that Eric Marlow wasn't honest
at all and that he told all parties involved (like
RPG and eF) different stories." What did he tell
RPG vs. what he told the eTeam? Can you give me some
more details? Did he/they want you guys to work on
developing FalconV for free?

All that I will say is that he was dishonest.

He said completely different things to different
people/groups.

This includes people from both RP and eF.

Because you said that the idea of someone making
money from someone else's free work was repulsive.
Were you talking about G2 and FalconV or were you
talking about SuperPAK?

SuperPAK will not make money. They will just work for
free for G2.

8. "The SuperPAK idea come in public after the RPG
experts resigned and didn't want to be involved with
Eric's FalconV project." Okay, you're telling me
that SuperPAK IS FalconV essentially, right? With the
"SuperPAK free patch" being used as "bait" or as a
"carrot" for the free labor to make FalconV?

It's all in public (the deal is publicly known and
available).

Please just read the deal between SuperPAK and G2.

In this deal it clearly says that G2 can use all
SuperPAK work for G2's profit making endeavor.

IMHO, the SuperPAK (or parts of it) would most
certainly be basis (or even most) of future FalconV.

This is totally clear.

9. "I was, though, involved with helping clearing
language of SuperPAK deal with G2 in order not to
mention the name of the group I am leader in such
document. That was all." The "name of the group"
you're referring to is the RPG, right?

Correct.

10. "Signing all work to G2 for 1$." Was this
from the start? There was never any public mention of
it.

Yes.

It's old thing.

Every SuperPAK member has to sign all his work for 1$
to G2.

And in SuperPAK deal with G2 it clearly says that all
work made by SuperPAK belongs to G2 and that the G2 can
use it in their profit making endeavor.

11. Do you know if "Hoola" would be interested in
answering some questions or making some comments?

No.

Never.

Don't even try.

"Hoola" has retired from public F4.
