By Will @ PureOC

SilverStone is a company that’s been around for 10 years, yet they haven’t quite developed a high level of brand recognition amongst consumers. Still, for those who know them, they sometimes make stand out products. One of their most famous products is the Air Penetrator fan. Silverstone also makes a wide variety of cases, CPU coolers, fans and even power supplies. They recently released their Argon series of CPU coolers which feature the AR01, AR02 and AR03, each having distinct blue-framed fans in a variety of sizes and heat pipe configurations. SilverStone was kind enough to send us their AR01 cooler to test out so let’s check it out!

Source: DailyGame

Having spent some time exclusively available to Xbox 360 owners, the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC can now be downloaded via Steam for the PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Black Ops II Uprising includes four new multiplayer maps, plus “Mob of the Dead,” a new Zombies experience that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz.

This new “Mob of the Dead” Zombies mode puts players in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome, Al “The Weasel” Arlington, Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca and Michael “Finn” O’Leary. All four are serving time in Alcatraz Prison, only to discover that being behind bars is the least of their problems. In order to survive, players must work their way through the steel cells and aging concrete buildings while fighting off a multitude of zombified prisoners and guards trapped on the island with them.

Review: Mad Catz M.O.U.S.9 Wireless Mouse

Posted by Donster on: 2013-05-16 15:01:58 in category: Game Controller News [ Print ]

Reviewed by NikKTech

A nice looking, feature rich and wireless compact mouse is one of the things i always wanted to "marry" with my notebook but to date i haven't been able to find the ideal one. Microsoft and Logitech have released quite a few (some of which with good specifications) but none of those actually peaked my interest (nor caught my eye for that matter), at least not enough for me to actually pack one of them with my primary Toshiba Qosmio notebook. I did consider using the excellent wireless R.A.T.9 by Mad Catz a while ago but its size along with the external battery charging bay were a bit too much for use with a notebook. Well it seems that Mad Catz also thinks the same way as I and so they just launched the M.O.U.S.9 Wireless Bluetooth Mouse which looks a lot like the R.A.T.9 but takes less space, is more battery efficient and is much lighter.

Posted by Donster on: 2013-05-16 14:49:12 in category: Processor News [ Print ]

By Marco Chiappetta @ HotHardware

It’s no secret that Intel is readying processors based in its Haswell microarchitecture. The new chips are due to be released in the not too distant future and feature a number of noteworthy enhancements, including a much more powerful integrated graphics core. When Haswell arrives though, it will supplant current Ivy Bridge-based processors, which target more mainstream market segments than the product we’ll be showing you today. For the foreseeable future, Intel’s big dog remains Sandy Bridge-E, the monstrous six-core beast which utilizes the X79 Express chipset and socket LGA 2011.
