Source: DailyGame
Having spent some time exclusively available to Xbox 360 owners, the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC can now be downloaded via Steam for the PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Black Ops II Uprising includes four new multiplayer maps, plus “Mob of the Dead,” a new Zombies experience that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz.
This new “Mob of the Dead” Zombies mode puts players in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome, Al “The Weasel” Arlington, Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca and Michael “Finn” O’Leary. All four are serving time in Alcatraz Prison, only to discover that being behind bars is the least of their problems. In order to survive, players must work their way through the steel cells and aging concrete buildings while fighting off a multitude of zombified prisoners and guards trapped on the island with them.

Ubisoft has released a brand new Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag gameplay trailer.
The two-minute trailer is narrated by Edward Kenway, the privateer-turned-pirate who serves as the main character in the new series entry.
Kenway provides some insight into his history on the high seas and shares his ethos of piracy. Expectedly, it involves a lot of thievery, clashing of steel and spilling of blood.

Review: Mad Catz M.O.U.S.9 Wireless Mouse
Posted by Donster on: 2013-05-16 15:01:58 in category: Game Controller News [ Print ]
Reviewed by NikKTech
A nice looking, feature rich and wireless compact mouse is one of the things i always wanted to "marry" with my notebook but to date i haven't been able to find the ideal one. Microsoft and Logitech have released quite a few (some of which with good specifications) but none of those actually peaked my interest (nor caught my eye for that matter), at least not enough for me to actually pack one of them with my primary Toshiba Qosmio notebook. I did consider using the excellent wireless R.A.T.9 by Mad Catz a while ago but its size along with the external battery charging bay were a bit too much for use with a notebook. Well it seems that Mad Catz also thinks the same way as I and so they just launched the M.O.U.S.9 Wireless Bluetooth Mouse which looks a lot like the R.A.T.9 but takes less space, is more battery efficient and is much lighter.

Review: Intel Core i7-3970X Sandy Bridge-E CPU
Posted by Donster on: 2013-05-16 14:49:12 in category: Processor News [ Print ]
By Marco Chiappetta @ HotHardware
It’s no secret that Intel is readying processors based in its Haswell microarchitecture. The new chips are due to be released in the not too distant future and feature a number of noteworthy enhancements, including a much more powerful integrated graphics core. When Haswell arrives though, it will supplant current Ivy Bridge-based processors, which target more mainstream market segments than the product we’ll be showing you today. For the foreseeable future, Intel’s big dog remains Sandy Bridge-E, the monstrous six-core beast which utilizes the X79 Express chipset and socket LGA 2011.

Bethesda has released a fresh batch of Wolfenstein: The New Order screenshots and artwork. The action-adventure shooter was announced earlier this month for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and "next-gen consoles".
Developed by MachineGames, a studio comprised of former key employees of Starbreeze, and set for release later this year, New Order takes place in 1960 after the Nazis have won World War II.
The game won't feature multiplayer, according to MachineGames creative director Jens Matthies.

Metro: Last Light Released in North America - Launch Trailer
Posted by Donster on: 2013-05-14 15:40:48 in category: First-Person Shooter News [ Print ]
Source: GameZone
Today is the day. After a delay from its original mid-2012 release, Metro: Last Light is finally available. As one of my "notable" game releases for May, Metro: Last Light certainly lived up to expectations, scoring an impressive 8.5/10 here on GameZone.
“We are happy to release Metro: Last Light and very confident with the quality of the game” said Deep Silver International Commercial Director, Menno van der Bil. The story of Deep Silver's acquisition of Metro is quite compelling, as the publisher saved the title from the bankrupt THQ. “I am sure that Metro: Last Light will meet the fans expectations, and Deep Silver is very proud to embrace such an outstanding title in its lineup.”

Metro: Last Light Review

A Light at the end of the tunnel.
By Colin Moriarty, IGN
Getting everything out of Metro: Last Light requires slow and patient play. In a post-apocalyptic adventure that relies a great deal on constant bits of exposition, the experience quickly grows into something much more than just your everyday shooter. The more time you spend exploring, listening, reading, and watching, the more you appreciate what 4A Games has created: an interesting story-driven single-player-only FPS. It undoubtedly rewards methodical players.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - True Golden Age of Pirates Trailer
Posted by Donster on: 2013-05-14 15:25:00 in category: Action/Action Strategy News [ Print ]
Source: Blue's News
Here's a new trailer from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag where Ubisoft offers some cinematics and couple of glimpses of gameplay to promote how they will tell the "true stories" of famous historic pirates in "the real golden age of piracy," which followed the golden age of highway robbery, and proceeded the golden age of stock swindles, glorious times villainized by the lamestream media. Here's a bit on the truthiness this all exposes:
Included with the trailer is an infographic riddled with facts about the Golden Age of Pirates in the 18th century. We’ve referenced multiple sources to provide a visual introduction to the period. You’ll learn about the events that made this Age of Piracy possible, get a taste of the living conditions that might make an honest sailor turn pirate, and uncover some of the key places, people and events that you will experience in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.

MSI enters the "gaming" motherboard market segment, albeit a lot later than many of its competitors. The GD65 series of motherboards from MSI has been a longtime favorite of ours and are easily some of the best motherboards that MSI has produced in the last few years. Does the GD-65 Gaming live up to the legacy of the GD-65 moniker?
