Title: Greater Good Agreement
Author: ????
Date: ???

All patches and works currently in the public domain which somehow work to enhance Falcon 4 may have copyright issues (real or imaginary) believed by their authors. The F4UT respects the authors and the work they have done. However, all work done in this realm is in actuality the altering of previous work, or at best, a developed modification designed to work within the framework of someone else's work. This circular reality makes the individual copyright issues surrounding the vast number of publicly available modifications to Infogrames F4 IP murky at best.

The time required to determine the correct stance for each modification within the letter of the law would only serve to abolish any chance to complete the goals of the F4 Unified Team. This would not best serve the F4 Player-community. So in the interests of the F4 player-communities greater good, the F4UT's policy on copyright is one of a broad brush.

F4UT will use any and all modifications currently available in the public domain to complete its task of full integration to the best of its abilities. Our goal is to create the absolute best version of publicly available F4 for the player community where terrains and cockpits and data and all other quality modes are seamlessly combined into one single, easy to use install.

All previous authors of work upon which the F4UT's work is based will be given credit to the best of our ability to recognize their efforts.

Any author whose work is used in the F4UT "SuperPAK" project has the full right to join the team and influence the outcome of this project. The only requirement is that they agree fully to the new team's doctrine and sign all the required documents required for participation.

The F4 Unified Team recognizes that this policy will be challenged with a thousand opinions. The time required to debate our policy would take time away from the greater good (which is the act of creating this SuperPAK in the first place). So as a matter of Policy, no member of the F4UT will attempt to defend or comment on this policy. The policy will speak for itself and any member of the F4UT, by signing this document to become a member, has agreed to this policy.

I,___full name______________________, understand and will abide by this policy. Signed,
