the tail code UI-105 means that his pilot is the famous CPO Hiroyoshi Nishizawa, third ranking japanese pilot with around 87 victories

Great stuff! I'm just watching "Midway" a documentary with colour John Ford footage and later (I think) some stuff with John Ballard who locates the wreck of the USS Yorktown.I have already noticed,in B/W unfortunetly ,a Zero with a light painted cowling to match the fuselage-nice I'll check it out when I stop recording the prog!
