Hi erveryone,

Since I've been using the latest eRAZOR patch I've had problems with slewing in slave mode when using the ground radar (i.e. when I'm using Mavericks). The cursor works fine in Boresight mode but when I switch to slave mode the cursor just sits in the bottom of the radar screen and I'm not able to move it anymore (using the pov switch on my stick). Sometimes it helps to switch to the 30 miles range but usually it doesn't. I've tried several settings in the Falcon.cfg file but with no results whatsoever. I'm using a Gravis Firebird 2 (I know its not sophisticated but it works). When using the iBETA "version" of Falcon I never encountered this problem. In air-to-air mode there's no cursor problem at all.

Finally the specs:

Pentium 500
256 Mb RAM
Win2K SP1
Soundblaster Live
Creative TNT2 (overclocked)
nVidia 6.18 (Detonator 3)

Any help is welcome.

Donkey.

Hi

I haven't tried Erazors exe but I think the A/G defaults to steeringpoint instead of SP(snow plow), maybe thats problem

Thanks for your quick reaction.
Would this mean the cursor is "stuck" to the screen and inoperable ?? How can I switch between these modes ?? It looks more like a bug to me, but I'm not sure.

It's not stuck in Slave mode, it's just in SteerPoint mode, meaning the radarcursors are "glued" to the location of your currently selected steerpoint. Just change the mode from STP (steerpoint) to SP (Snowplow) this will let you slew around until you grow a beard.

Just press the OSB next to SP to go to SP mode. I have no idea what key that is out of the top of my head but I'm sure you'll be able to find it in the manual.

I think using the apostraphy (excuse spelling) " ' " will change the modes.
