First I thought I was nuts or just didn't understood the CAT I/III concept.

However after some testing the following is the case:

Falcon 4.0:
-Ibeta RP2.1
-F4PAtch 1.4.1
-Xis 1024x768 Beta 6A cockpit
-Sylvain's CATI/III fix Version 2

When I start a mission with an aircraft loaded in CAT III configuration (filled with A2G weapons) which means the FLCS restricts the aircraft to max 6.0 G.

I look at my stores MFD and it lists "CAT III/6.0G". I look at the CAT I/III on the left side of the cockpit and the switch is in the UP (CAT I) position!

I jettison the A2G load, and look at the stores MFD. It still lists the aircraft in CAT III config, which is correct. I press the CAT I/III switch and it either:

1) stays in the same position (switching UP again from CAT III to CAT I - but it never was in CAT III position so it goes from the UP position to the UP position)

2) goes down (from the CAT I UP position to the CAT III DOWN position).

But when I look at the MFD it correctly lists "CAT I/9.0G".

This is definitely a lil bug here. It might be just my system but something funny is going on here.

Just wondering, is there really a CAT I/III switch in the Block 50/52? I would expect such an advanced aircraft to be able to detect and switch CAT modes by itself?

Any help would be truely appreciated!
