Hello all. I have completed a full install of EAW and the opening movie flickers like flashing tinfoil, When I escape it goes to the menu page and does the same. The only difference is that you can just barely make out some options. Press exit and for a couple seconds everything is perfectly clear. The actual game is not too bad. My system is P111-500 128mb,ATI2000Rage32mb,V2-1000,12mb sli. Any suggestions would be appreciated. fuzzy

Did your "full install" include the version 1.2 patch from Microprose? If not that's a good place to start. I didn't get flicker in my intro movie but did get quite a bit in the main screen which was cleared up after installing the patch. If you have the patch already then you'll have to rely on one of the many really smart people around here to help you out----don't worry it shouldn't take long!

At least the game looks good when you fly. That is most important. However, since the V2's only render the 3D game, not the 2D menu's, it is a problem with the ATI card. I would suggest that you make sure you have the latest drivers for the card, and Direct X 7.0a.
