all sims seem to send out a recon flight after a strike or whatever type mission your on to report on the outcome of the mission as seen in the debrief screen in single player. In multi just choose an airfield to launch from and coordinate a mission (I'm a mud mover at heart) and perform your own recon. Until your idea becomes reality that is. Agree. I can't believe I'm saying this but yeah I would pay for that. If they could get true co-op, a real mission setup, more than 8 would be nice, and a file checker to make sure everyone's planes are on the same page I'd be a happy camper. The file checker is the big one. Before someone mentions the lines you can change in the one file there, that is far from ideal since it will flag you if you even have one AI plane set to be flyable. It wouldn't even have to be like the one in EAW where a game won't launch with mismatched data, just maybe a red light green light so you can see where everyone stands, and if the red lights don't bother you then hit it. As far as it being a hard sell, think about it, how many people here have shelled out 20-odd dollars for clouds. MP that was secure and could get squadrons flying real missions is worth at least that, to them at least. ------------------ - Schatt "The Mediterranean era died with the discovery of America; the Atlantic era is now at the height of its development and must soon exhaust the resources at its command; the Pacific era, destined to be the greatest of all, is just at its dawn." - President Theodore Roosevelt

I can't believe you're saying it either Scatty! ------------------ Chocks away, back soon old chap and hey, stay away from Mrs Bilko or I'll give you a damn good thrashing with my STICK Enlève les cales!

Whats with these newer sims not having anything but shootemup multiplay? And B17-II no multi at all?? I don't get it. Either its too difficult to make work or its not politically correct to add coop to mP?

Boy, I haven't seen so many "pay to play" mods since I've started flying computer sims...What's up with the MS Flight Sim community??? This sim in particular, has the capability to be modified in numerous was, benefiting everyone, yet most of the mods available are for "sale" instead of for "download". You want better "clouds"? pay up You want to change skins? pay up Now you want coop-multiplay? Pay up soon... What's up with that? I don't get it. I create mods. I've created mods for several sims. The mods have taken MUCH of my free time. They are available for download for free. I've even been approached by a fellow "simmer" asking me to create a personalized aircraft "skin" AND saying that it would be worth $100.00 (One hundred U.S. dollars) to him. I immediately told this person that I would/could never accept money from anyone for the mods (not only technically illegal, I believe, but not my style as well.) My payment? a simple email letting me know how much they've enjoyed/appreciated the mods. Emails from actual veteran pilots have been priceless. Emails from the sons/daughters of these vets; priceless. Just check out the European Air War community (EAW) for the perfect example of what I'm talking about. My 2 cents worth... Thanks, AxA http://www.FlyAndFight.com
