In Forgotten Battles, I do hope that we are going to get some genuine-sounding noises from the Hurricane's Merlin engine and indeed, the big-American radial sound of the P47. Although IL2 has been almost beyond critisism in ti's modelling, there have been some very strange engine notes eminating from aircraft like the JU 88 and He 111, for instance (reverb on a synthesiser?). If only a genuine engine sounds, like the Daimler-Benz for the Bf 109, could have been woven into the sim as in WW2 Fighters, also HyperLobby's start-up sequence and even in Wolfenstein, it would be fantastic. Any feedback in this department would be welcomed, particularly from Meatwater!
