Yes it should. I tried it yesterday and didn't have any problem. Do you have Windows 2000 by any chance? So far, the only way to make it work with Win2K is by using my patch, F4DX, and the DirectX mode. If not, can you tell me exactly what you did to make it crash?

falcon on seperate hard disk
ran your patch devctdi2 on the org falcon.exe as well on the 1.08i2.exe

Hans, I don't know. Let see what others have to say before 'blaming' it on your system...

Mako, no DevCTDi2 is NEWER than LGBCTDi2. It fixes other crashes as well... You can install it over the previous one since it only adds new stuff.

Sylvain,
If I install the Check-Six 2.0 and 2.01 patches, should I install your "devctdi2" patch next since it appears to be newer than the Check-Six stuff? Thanks.

Sylvain,
I hope you're still here on the site. I'm pulling my hair out trying to understand what patch should overwrite the next. Especially with the combo patches, the Check-Six stuff and so on. I have:

108us.exe (Microprose)
108i2 (iBeta)
Realism 1.0 (iBeta)
Check-Six 2.0
Check-Six 2.01
Newcomms (Poogen)
F4sgifi2 (SGagnon)
devctdi2 (SGagnon)

All the others seem to be add-on stuff. Can you tell me what order to use these. I know some of them have newer fixes than others that should replace older fixes. Thanks.

Hi scrapser,

I left message in your 'Need help with the TOO MANY PATCHES!' thread regarding that subject.

But to comment on your message here, the order you gave seems about right but make sure Poogen's patch is his combined patch (don't know its name off hand). Later this week, I'll intergrate my devCTDi2 patch to my integrated patch (f4sgii2) so that will be one less to install
