I'm wondering if you guys can recommend any articles or websites describing the various air combat maneuvers one can perform? I want to know what to do in head-on passes, when the enemy is on six or whatever cause I really suck at this right now.. and I don't seem to have any SA at all.. heh..
Some pictures to go along with text describing offensive and defensive tactics would sure be handy..
Know any sites with some good info on this matter?

Thanks
Mattias

S! Darkstar,

Try this site:
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Metro/8853/

It's done by an excellent pilot in my very own No609 Squadron who knows his AC maneuvers.

I've found this one to be one of the most entertaining and practical for EAW.

if you're willing to slap down a few bucks head over to your local bookstore and get
Fighter Combat by Robert Shaw. It is generally held up as the holy bible of ACM my copy ran me around $30 or so.

I strongly agree with Soulyss, Shaw's book is outstanding, being chock full of excellent diagrams and great quotes by veteran fighter pilots.

I ended up ordering David Shaw's book for easy off-line reading. Thanks again for the suggestions!
