Herr Rommell,

I'm talking about a JU87 in 1942 PAW... the exact reverse of what most are doing here.

hehe!

Has anyone tried extracting Vals and other Japanese carrier planes from PAW for use in EAW?

Sure.

I've seen quite a few imports of planes like Zeros, Vals, Corsairs, etc... from 1942 PAW into EAW.

I thought it would be kind of neat to import some EAW stuff into PAW.

That is BRILLIANT AJ !! I don't really know the first thing about computer game designs but I DO know about wargame designs having played and studied them for over 20 (!) years and thought myself that this would be the way to proceed if possible - Gut PAW and stuff it with as much EAW filling as it can take then liberally garnish with 1.2 upgrade patch to give Jumbo resolutions. If this approach DOES work then it gives torpedo dropping routines to add to He111 ,Ju88 and if I remember(Graf Zepplin proto perhaps) maybe Ju87s too,Carrier ops too and seafires ,seahurries to go with em!
Did you see my earlier post about Microproses F14 FleetDefender Gold which is a FREE d-l at http://underdogs.cjb.net/

I think this may be of some use as with any luck it will have at least some usable shapes such as ships and may offer new insights into the relationship between PAW and EAW as I think it came out just after PAW but before PAW Gold if you follow me.Different designers but same studio so have a peek and get cracking!

Sure, Cfran told me the whole story of the secret Stuka squadron. They sent disassembled Ju87s to Japan aboard U boats and sortied off of carriers. They even had Jap insignia to fool th eenemy!

It's now official... I just flew a JU87 off of a Jap Flattop on a mission to bomb Midway!

Still need to make a skin, though... looked rather ugly using the default VAL's skin! :-o
