GentsSorry- I had a bad day- and yes I lost my temper in a major way. The EAW community is a micro-cosmos of what one would like to see in the real world- we (should) tolerate each other, and (should) allow each to get on with his own "thing". What really got my goat the other day was the apparent "inability" to leave the topics that cause division and ill-feeling to die off. I am sorry that I lost my temper- and also have to acknowledge that the anti-babe guys had a democratic right to say what they wanted to. I am not going to raise this topic on the forum again, and would appreciate it if all readers of this post would refrain from this as well- in the fear of doing exactly the same thing that I accused others off. Allow this to die- and let us walk away from it. I think it is only right and fair towards Cycadrat, TQM and especially Von Broam to apologise to them personally for my behaviour- I was unfair, and did not think carefully about what I was saying. I would like to try even harder in future to adhere to a motto that I heard accredited to Abraham Lincoln- as I remember it "I hope to have it said about me one day that I was a man who ruthlessly removed weeds where I saw them grow, and planted a flower in it's place, if I thought it was a place a flower would grow." QED E.R.

Herr Rommel!I haven't been to this forum for very long, but I have already learned to appreciate your presence in this place. It is only most understandable that "ein alter Feldmarschall" may lose his temper sometimes, but being a real gentleman you have come back and apologized. Personally I am very happy to know that I can read postings from you again in the future. I know many people here will be! Willkommen zurück! ------------------ cu in the air

I get cranky too sometimes.Zhis is caused by my war-wounds that I got back in NAM. Yeah, NAMibia...hahahahahaha. No actually it's usually caused by listening to too much Offspring. Usually the song "Bad Habit" off their "Ignition" CD. Terrible song really! Well F*** you.

Herr Rommel,Damn glad to see ya. Welcome back. I, also, owe vonBroam an apology, as I went too far in backing you up, and crossed the line into the same thing I was accusing him of. So, here goes. Herr vonBroam, please accept my sincerest apology for being a major butthead and for calling you whatever !@#$%^&*( stands for. It was uncalled for and ungentlemanly. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion and have the right to express said opinion, just as everybody else is entitled to the same rights. I didn't agree with yours, but I went too far in expressing that disagreement. Now, may we please get back to our regularly scheduled insanity? ------------------ Energizer So many targets, so little ammunition......

Herr Rommel,I am SO glad you have returned, your wit and wisdom are one of the main reasons I decided to get off the couch and participate here. I understand having a bad day, and also apologize for anything I may have done to add to it, that was certainly not my intention. All this being said, I am curious, what has happened to Eddie Rome?? Is your cousin still wandering London? ------------------ En boca cerrada, no entran moscas.

ISP problems prevented my getting online yesterday, so was not until now that I see you have returned. Best news I've seen this morning. Good to have you back my friend!Salute! ------------------ "A mind is like a parachute; it only functions when it is open."
