If you open your MY COMPUTER and EXPLORE the CD-Rom, there is a programmable JOYSTICK file in there.
That's what I used to calibrate my MS Sidewinder PRO controller.

You calibrate the joystick in Windows prior to launching the game. If you are asking how to program the joystick buttons, use the Logitech software for the joystick (can be downloaded at www.Logitech.com).

Hey crash, did you ever get that stick to work? I've got the same stick and I can't seem to get it to work. Downloaded the latest from Logitech and tried to create a new profile, but no luck yet.

I had this same problem - the culprit is the USB connection. Try plugging the wingman into a game port and it should work. Wierd, no?
