I changed my card from a creative blaster pci with 4mb to a diamond stealth agp with 32mb and I now seem to be flying in a large square whereas before the horizon was as it should be i.e. round. Anyone else found this?

Hy, if I understand you right, I got the same thing after changing my videocard from an 8MB AGP ATI Rage pro to an 16MB ATI RAGE 128. After it the horizonline between earth and sky is charpedgedand and not smooth like before. Using the latest drivers with an tweaker can´t fix that problem.

See the thread in this forum called 'EAW not seeing 1280 x 1024 in Ver 1.2' - that has some tips there.

The horizon being squared off is normal; it's just that there's supposed to be fog covering the horizon and masking the square. Your video cards lack a true w-buffer which EAW calls upon to generate fog. ATI cards definitely have this problem with EAW and other games as well. And, ATI hasn't gotten around to fixing it either.
