The fact is that in Capitalism whatever make the most money is deemed by logic to be the most popular. The small groups of people that like these sims (I'm included in that group) cannot support a company that makes these sims. Why? First to make a sim deticated to (for example) the east front or some other obscure (compared to modern days sims) would require a lot of research inorder to obtain accurate data. In fact it might even need a trip to Russia to study the plane (since only Russia has any WW2 planes left in museums). What software developer could afford this? Not only that but also the time it take to code the program. As you can see, making a Deer hunting "sim" is much easier. And also seems to be extremely profitable. Oh well. One day we'll get the end all WW2 sim, but until that day (approx. June 10, 2061) I'll be playing EAW on my P99-100000. Thanks for your time and patient.------------------ "The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win." Karl Marx von Manstien war_monkey@rocketmail.com

Herr SlappheadWhat a brilliant idea!! { } Ich will be a sprightly 101 jahre old by 2061, and would certainly like to see the "wishlist" changes in EAW- especially the north African, PAW and Ost front campaigns added before then ! An historic precedent - Wild Bills Raiders got permission to use the source code of "SSI's Steel Panthers II" (My other weakness!!) and turned out a brilliant WW II adaptation of the original programme (http://spcamo.thegamers.net/spww2/whatsnew.html), which ,Ich glaube, sold another couple of copies of the original for SSI!. Herr CFrancisco and other "computer bofs" how about it- there be life in this? Und Herr Charles Gunst und Herr Paulo Marois did an excellent job on ECA and TPE- would more not be possible? PS: Ich will probably also pushing up ze daisies ( vhat you call zem little flowers?) by 2061? Ja?

Here I am sitting quietly listening to depressing music (Matallica, The Verve) and we're all talking about being dead.I'll be 80 in 2061. Although seeing as I live in South Africa which is not a safe place for white people with cars, (or PCs, or Radios, or spare change) I'll be lucky if make 2010!! So screw this, I think I'll hang up my goggles, push my little saitek (Thrustmaster in South Africa, ARE YOU MADe I've never even seen an F-22 FLCS) to one side, and concentrate of my girlfriend....sorry...on getting a girlfriend.

In 2061 they'll probably be releasing WW3 sims (based on F15's and Su-27) People will be sitting around saying "Ahh! those were REAL planes, not like the remote controlled crap we have nowadays" Like all old gits do about the past.Yep! I'm a pessimist!
