If you live in the New England area, you might be interested in the First Annual Aviation Heritage Day, 9/16-17, at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH. They will fly in B-17, B-24, P-51, AT-6, and other aircraft, and a number of WW2 pilots will be speaking, including the pilot of the Memphis Belle; "Gabby" Gabreski, WW2/Korea ace; three of the Tuskegee Airmen pilots; and many more (e.g., an SR-71 pilot, USAF ace Steve Ritchie, Gene Kranz, Apollo 11/13 capcomm ($10 admission). See http://www.dwc.edu/features/events/avherfest.html for more details... it looks cool. I'm going with my father-in-law, who flew B-24's in the Pacific 1942-43. -Chino
