I bought the UK version here in Ottawa Ontario Canada on Dec 24.
With everything set at maximum, on my Pe, 500 Mhz, 256Mb RAM machine with G400 max I get a good frame rate on the training missions including carrier ops. I had to turn off bus mastering(AGP) to run the program. The terrain graphics are terrible on my present setup but the program seems otherwise ok.
There is mission planning but no mission editor. There is a flimsy almost unreadable keyboard chart and a quite good 236 page manual.
This may be a better looking sim in 3DFX but sure is a disappointment on my $2K upgraded machine. Of course many other old sims are crappy now on this rig e.g F15, EF2000V2, Hornet Korea etc. Fly!, Falcon 4 and FS2000 run fine. USAF and Apache Havoc run ok with AGP off.
