A wing is a thing of progress state basically when a player boarded F-14B. However, a wing becomes a retreat state after having executed air refueling. If air refueling was finished, you can control F-14B that a wing retreated. The state that a wing retreated becomes stationary this time. You have to uncheck a " Realictic Inflight Refueling Toleance" and " Realictic Inflight Refueling Duration" option to execute air refueling with F-14B which a player boards. (You need uncheck both!) In addition, you ignore a leftwing refueling basket when you approach in S3B and are good when you approach behind refueling Pod of the right wing. Graphic of connection with S3B is buggy. However, fuel is filled up with without a problem. And of course a deck landing is possible in the last of mission, too. Please enjoy it. http://ta.laox.net/~katsuji.matsu/topgune.html

quote: Originally posted by bush131st: in real life, wing sweptness on an f-14 deals with speed. the faster the speed, the more the wings are sweaped back. but you sure as hell ain't going to refuel at mach 1. so i dont know how its modeled into the sim.
I thought that the most person to come here knew it. It lacks the function which originally boards F-14B with Jane's F/A-18. It boards F-14B by using the bug of MissionBuilder. There is the following restriction when it flies with F-14B because of that. A wing doesn't sweep regardless of the speed. Views from Cockpit are still F/A-18E. Armament are not indicated in the outside view. The air Refueling impossible by the uRealisctic Refuelvsetup. Flight modeling doesn't probably reflect an actual F-14B, either. I still like to make mission to fly with F-14B. Don't you? [This message has been edited by BlueKnight (edited 12-27-2000).]
