How do I sync up with the sweep, Weasles, etc... flights in F18? I guess the main problem is that I don't know how to tell if I'm on time when arriving at a waypoint or the target. So, I either get their before the sweep, or too long after and the enemy fighters are already there. Do I actually have to write down the arrival times of the waypoints prior to flying the mission?

I don't know about the sim, but I'll tell ya how a real pilot does it....he writes it down in the brief just like you said.
