hop over to http://www.frugalsworld.com/ in the janes usaf forum i found the solution to my problem with the speechrecognition, still looking for a descent mic. have fun, here's the articleHere's something I found on another Forum. It worked for me, hopefully it works for you too! Check six! SNAKE Voice Command fix This was posted in the forum thanks Stinger I got them to work! Thanks to Russ for the website where the voice training program is locate. OK here's what I did. Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/msagent/agentdl.asp and download the control panel program for the speech engine. Install and then find it in Control Panel, the new Speech icon it will create. Open it and do the mike test thing to make sure it is set. Then go to training. I did two sessions of training, the more you do the more it learns. Then go to USAF. Go to Prefrences > Keyboard. A lot of the words have a Primary and a Secondary word. The click on the commands you want to use if it has one get rid of the Secondary word. Make up a new Primary or put both words in the Primary slot. I tried both splitting and combining words such as, 3 engage or 3engage. Can't see a difference but some combinations may work better than others. Change throttle settings to just "Sixty", "Seventy", "Military", "Burner". Make them as simple as possible so as not to confuse the software and to make it easier to remember. It's working for me now, check it out it is WAY COOL. Some notes. Some commands are best done with the joystick buttons. Target is one, you can click through targets quicker than saying it. Experiment. I changed my air-to-air weapon button to the voice button. It is easy to hit the button and say "Air" and now it also switches "Ground". This is really good for those hard to get to key commands. Radar scale setting, Radar mode and sub-mode. Wingy commands are great. Chaff/Flare. And is does give you a feeling of power to just say "Launch" and watch your birds fly!! Check it out, experiment. If you come up with some good working commands post them. [This message has been edited by jean-pierre (edited 01-01-2000).] [This message has been edited by jean-pierre (edited 01-01-2000).]

If you don't want to Alt+Tab from the game back to GC to create a new template, or you can't because with some video cards Windows locks when you hit Alt+Tab, you can create a new template for a game by doing the following:1. Select User from the GC main menu to open the User dialog 2. Click the Import button (if you have more than one user created, make sure you have the desired user selected first) 3. In the File type drop down, select Executable files (*.exe) 4. Select the EXE file the game uses 5. Click the Import button Be sure you pick the correct EXE file if the game uses several otherwise GC will send keystrokes to the wrong one Now you'll have an empty template for the game and can fill it with all the commands your heart desires. ------------------ Take Command!
