Topic: OT: This Board's Private Messaging Feature

Hi all,I've turned off the private messaging feature because, well, I think it has a bug where private messages get sent to people not intended to receive them. Until I can confirm whether this is a bug or just my imagination, I'm turning the feature OFF. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but privacy is my PRIME DIRECTIVE on this site and I'd hate for any private discussions to get public distribution. -------------------- Douglas Helmer

Z.. I know you got it as did the other people I wanted to get it but, it sounded as if doug said other people got it. I sent to 3 people. I don't think anyone other than me is getting the occasional private messages intended for someone else . . . I'm sure if any of you got a private message not intended for you, you would have alerted me, right?No, like I say, I occasionally receive one of these private messages . . . and you can believe me when I say that I don't read them (I know, hard to believe, but it's true . . .as soon as I realize it was for someone else, I stop reading). Perhaps people accidently click the Private Message (PM) icon on one of my replies when they intend to click someone else's PM icon . . . but until I know that for sure I thought it best to turn the whole PM thing off. -------------------- Douglas Helmer
