Sorry to see that you misunderstood my post.First I never intended to said I dislike americans people some good friend of me are american and other are german ! I just said that when an foreign army enter your territory they're is just 2 case
1 : you are in war
2 : you agreee
and the french governement just said "NO"
I would have said "YES" but I was not in the governement at this time !! I don't want to start a flame war but as you rewrite history just small points. USA just get European gold/money during WWI until 1917.Except some couragous people from squadron lafayette (for exemple) who fight before your governement enter the war.
Who in USA was taking care of this little european war ? apart your Banks ? Concerning WWII I agree with you at just one exception : without Pearl Harbour and do you think that USA would have enter war ? For Indochine USA made the same mistake as my governement but for other reason (as bad as our ) and it's impossible to fight againt people wanting their Freedom!

I agree with you !
War is always a waste of soul!
It's better to kill pixel :-)) (they can respawn!)And as for scars in history french have Algerie War where certain of our soldat have been WORST than NAZI. And to rewrite history the only way for France to win over NAZI was to start war in 1936 or 1933 but in 1939 even if we have on paper an army more powerfull than nazi!
We havn't neither stratégie nor organisation.
It's a french speciality to be unorganised :-) The BlitzKieg used by Guderian for exemple
was theorically defined by an obscure officer called de Gaulle .
Yes the général de Gaulle has written the théorie in about 1929 (not sure of the date) in "Vers l'armée de métier" and another book I don't recall. For WWI the impact of USA wasn't all military but more psychological on german! But don't forget that before 19e century our favorite enemy was England :-)) not Germany :-)) If it wasn't the case I don't think French king would have helped America getting independance ! see you in air
