Another question, can you attack parts of a ship? I saw a screenshot a Slava with different fires and smoke around it. Can you drop a bomb on its bow and blow of the bow?? Or can you get the cannon and blast off the radar?

Also does it wok for aircraft like the B-52, can you sneak up and pour shells into one engine and make it blow up. Also(sorry with the Also's) will the R-73 go for an engine on the B-52 or just its fuselage???? I read somewhere that different effects of destruction are visible on buildings.

Or am I just hoping for a cross between F2 and FS:SDOE?

Hi,

You can hit a ship and the bow and it's deck gun is lost, or a SAM launcher and that SAM becomes ineffective. I have even seen where the radar mast gets destroyed.

You can target seperate engines on all bombers and transports. You can target the wings of fighters and blow up the wing. If it happens to you you lose all your fuel and can barely maintain control. You can target the tail and destroy rudders and elevators.

All buildings and ground objects have great post fire damage...like burnt out shells.

You can see some screenshots of the building damage on my website.

Is that what you are looking for? :-)

Thanks Stinger thats exactly what I wanted. I read somewhere you cant do a belly landing, if the damage is as you say I think a belly landing should be able to happen as you wheels could be blown off.

Thanks
