Hi all,I hope you liked the 1st article, and I wanted to take a moment to request input. If you, or someone you know has a very cool add-on for a combat simulation, PLEASE Let me know. I can then look into it and report on it in a future column. Don't be shy, and be sure to let me know, as I can't look into it if I don't know about it! Thanks,

Spectre,Good article, but a little light on gameplay...but that may not have been the focus, and understandably so. I keep "almost" buying this game...but never quite follow through with it. The flight model is the big issue: I've been spoiled by Falcon 4.0, I think. May I recommend Janes WW2 Fighters for a future edition? Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Dan

Hmmmm....I would recommend coming back for the next installment, you mind-reader! And I appreciate the input on the USAF article. Falcon 4 spoils the flight model for just about anything else on the planet... Thanks again,

Spectre, I'd suggest doing something on...(now don't everyone be shocked) EAW. A couple weeks ago I had to do a reinstall because of some weirdness with my hard drive and for the hell of it I played it "as is" from the boxed version with only the 1.2 patch in. No skins, no sounds, no new campaigns, no new planes, just the basics. And I flew it for all of an hour before I had to throw all of the bells and whistles back in. EAW has been on my drive continously (except for needing a periodic tune up) since 11-11-98 (DOH had to edit, I forgot what year it was, but I did get the 11-11 right, I still have the sales slip, LOL) when I picked it up from the store. As it evolved I never really took much note of how much it'd changed since then but that reinstall was a real eye opener. Incidentally it has been on the same HD since then even though I've gotten a new computer since. I never wanted to redownload all of the addons so when I got the new one I ripped my "EAW HD" from the old one and put in the new one. LOL -------------------- Yes I am a minion of the Devil, but my duties are largely ceremonial.
