Hi all,I'm typing this message from my parent's computer as my own Internet connection has a serious problem which the experts can't even figure out. We do think, however, that it's a dead ADSL modem. Yeah, all this technology and a 2-cent resistor in my highspeed modem is probably kaput. Why am I boring you all with this mundane info? Well, it impacts tomorrow's publishing sched. Since today is a holiday, I can't get a new modem until tomorrow. Thus, I can't even get into the COMBATSIM.COM servers to publish an article nor can Gail do her news. Heck, we can't even check our email until this problem is resolved---which, I hope, will be by noon tomorrow. So, I just wanted y'all to know that we aren't shirking our responsibilites.  -------------------- Douglas Helmer

And the stupid little machines ALWAYS pick the worst times to do it, ya ever notice?I have here in the H/W biz. Good luck folks... PS, does this directly effect the Article manager? I did write an EMail, which I'm
sure you didn't get either.

Hi All,Well, we are finally back online. As we originally thought it was our ISP that had the problem, not our modem (they will never listen to us). We now return to our regularily scheduled programming.  Gail
