Well, since Mr. Admin posted a good morning here, I guess it must be legal.

Good morning all! Blue skies in Fort Collins. We're headed for temps in the 50s today. That's degrees F for you Celsius types.

Morning all;

Clear, cold and windy.

IT'S DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I now have a Akers-Barnes Cockpit, Mark 1 sitting the the garage.

Took 2 sheets of plywood.....5 Jig Saw Blades, 2 pencils, 1 gum eraser, about 5 different rulers and t-squares........and about 20 hours work.

Hardest part was laying out the parts and checking the measurements, then redoing the measurements when I discovered I had laid it out wrong.

Used a Jig Saw instead of a circular saw. Took longer to cut, but the less fiddling when it went together.

Now as soon as the weather warms up, sanding, painting, and assorted artistic thingmies will begin.

--------------------

Check six & aim for the cockpit.

Bit of a morning, what hey?

Dry and dusty here at L.G. 6. Sand blowing through the flaps, flies hovering, hell of a hangover (bloody Aussies just won't keep their Fosters to themselves). Typical day in the Blue. Cuppa Earl Grey, couple of Woodbines, then's it's up and at that Rommel fellow over in Cyrenaica. Wake up the Hun good and proper, I reckon.

(Anybody else fly DAW this weekend?)

Morning all.

Sunny at the moment here, lots loaded container ships in the bay this morning. Looks like a tough week at the Oakland Port.

Ahyup.........

All fingers and toes attached and accounted for.

Only damaged was a small splinter in the thumb. No cuts. gashes, bruses or other gastly wounds.

All in all a very successful operation and quite a bit of fun.

POWER TOOLS.....it's a guy thing!!

And Spec:

I may fly a burner or two...but that babe is getting painted cameo on the outside and a blue-gunmetal grey in the inside (I think, haven't made up my mind).
