He did say he was going north, didn't he?DUBLIN (Reuters) - Irish motorists, more used to the odd pothole or wandering horse, were warned Friday to look out for a stray camel or llama on the road.
The local Automobile Association (AA) said the animal had been spotted on a road in Offaly, in the Irish midlands.
"It looks as though Lawrence of Arabia is in town," an AA spokeswoman said.
"A motorist rang up and said there was a camel on the Clara road, but it might have been a llama," she said, adding that there was a circus in town.
Police said they had no word on the sighting.
