Yeah, I was sorta hoping that that particularly nasty streak in gaming was behind us. Lately the ads in CGW have been pleasantly bereft of gore and antisocial shock schlock. I think they're starting to realize that their demographic is older than they initially thought (or that the crowd that eats up the nasty stuff has gone over to consoles..).

This is just so -- wrong. It's like making a game that glorifies arson or lynchings. That's exactly what it's like. I can't believe that authorities would allow this game to be sold anywhere that soccer is popular. Then again, hooligan memoirs are all the rage in the UK, so I guess you never know. And during a World Cup year, to boot. Disgraceful.
