...bought 'IL-2 Sturmovik'. Bismarck inspired me since he says it runs well on his rig which isn't too much different than mine.  It's still sitting in its box since we have dinner guests tonight, but I thought I'd mention it if only to get mane raptor off my case.  Wow! Seven more days of vacation with nothing to do except play BoB and IL-2! Doesn't get much better than that!!! Z p.s. If you haven't seen 'Lord of the Rings' go see it! Dunno Spec, I really like BoB. I think both sims are complementary since they deal with different theatres. Besides, these are the last couple WW2 flight sims we're going to have in a long time. Let's savour them equally.

Yessir, Dice-man,That's one thing I've missed since getting out, all the lovely down-days! Z, I was talking S**T, as you probably guessed. I never have tried BoB, might have
to look it up in the bargain bin. Was not impressed with MiG Alley, so stayed away. I do think you'll like IL-2, tho...

I got IL-2 for Christmas. So far I like it.Best of all, it runs on my machine with few glitches. I'm still playing with settings and haven't downloaded the first patch yet. Still working on some of the canned missions and making up quick ones. Not ready for a campaign yet. So far, so good. Jim

Mane,I could be more of a consistant tester and be on-line more if it weren't for this FUBAR
shift I'm on. Only been on-line once with IL-2. Would be happy to spin your monster,
er, I mean, creation around a bit off-line though...
