I've noticed that after playing some sims, using my still confusing X36, I lose some keyboard functions/strokes. I've seen on Ron Hunt's board that this is a fairly common (or at least not unheard of) problem.

Similar probs with the Thrustmaster HOTAS?? I bought the X36 as an interm solution, anyway, so...

The last thing every pilot does before leaving the aircraft after making a gear up landing is to put the gear selection lever in the 'down' position.

LJ,

You will NOT have problems like that with Thrustmaster gear. In fact from my understanding of the programming capablities of the soon to be released Cougar, you will have more possibilites than keys in most games.

Unfortunatly I made a stupid mistake and loaded a macro file not designed for my TM gear. I am now Thrustmaster-less and forced to use a X36 myself until the Cougar is released.

FYI: Here is the TM site just in case you don't have it bookmarked:

In fact I have a few problems with my TQS, the quality of the buttons could be better, but without doubt Thrustmaster is the best HOTAS.

Mane, I don't think your joystick is loss forever (what a pity!), if the reset program don't work, maybe You can open the joystick and reset the EPROM directly or replace it.
