I don't have much time, and I'm out of sorts, and it probably seems weird for me to post this right now, but...

Around 8 PM tonight my grandma passed away.

I'm sorry I didn't make it to ELF but I'm glad I was here with her when it happened. It was peaceful I think and she knew I was there at the end. She always wanted to go on a nice day and today was beautiful so she got her wish.

I don't know how much I'll be around for a while.

Rick

After the long suffering it is better this way. My condolences to you and your mom. I am sure many fond memories remain- hang on to those.

I hoped to meet you in person- but in view of this it would probably not happen.

With you in my thoughts.

Sincerely,

Pieter C.

Very sorry to hear of your loss Rick. I know you and your family have been very supportive of your Gran and have had some tough decisions to make, but as Rommel points out, if its happened, then it's happened for the best. Truly believe that.
Anything at all I can do, even if it's a chat, please ask.

Take care mate
Warren

My sincerest condolences, Rick. I'll be praying for you and your family. A loss like this is always difficult to bear, but I'm glad you were there to help your grandmother pass on. She raised a very fine man.

Thanks guys, it meant a lot to me and my mom, I showed her the posts and she got a little misty. We really appriciate it a lot.

We're doing okay, mostly just exhausted since it's been pretty rough this week but we'll get by.

Thanks again, it was nice of all of you to be so kind. It was cool of Kbar to call too, thanks man, and I enjoyed talking to y'all after he played pass the phone.

Like I said, and can't say enough thanks again.

Rick,

Just got back into town. Sorry.

No matter how much we expect these things, it's always a shock. Sorry.
