these are the first times I use this resolution (I didn't feel the need before), to get advantage of W&L cockpits, and those stars are quite small and dimly bright (my night is black...), even with 17" or 21" monitors

is there anyone knowing if it's possible to crack that brightness?

if your running a 17 inch or 21 inch you most likely have the option of dimming your actualy monitor for the use of night missions,, just adjust, make darker, then readjust afterwards...

or you can mess with your gamma controls in your video card options..

my nights get dark, really dark!! almost so dark I can't see the controls (like paul wilsons cockpit!!! do not enjoy extra views in skypats lighted cockpit,, get annoying)

and turn lights out in the room your flying in.. it get's dark really dark

...ehm...maybe I've expressed myself with a wrong term...forgive my english...maybe the literal translate from italian has the opposite meaning...

Fighter/613, I intended to say that I'd like to see brighter stars, that are almost invisible at 1024 and even with a 21" monitor, even in a totally black night...sorry again

solved my problem, maybe this could be of use for any V5500 owner: if you have antialiasing active the stars almost disappear, they will return to normal aspect as you set "fastest performance"
