For the next 7 days the forcast is snow. Temp highs of 4C, lows -4C. But at least the wind stop.

The wind collapsed a scaffold on the Ambassador Bridge. 4 guys fell 42m into 8C water. 1 dead, 1 missing, but amazingly, 2 rescued and are ok.

No no clansman. Samuel de Champlain once said you don't know this country until you experience its winter.

Not so bad where I live, or in the Vancouver area, but elsewhere it can be a bit rough. In Edmonton area it kills quite a number of people annually. However, there's nothing like a clear blue sky calm morning at -40C. Invigourating .

The guys were painting the bridge. 4 were left hanging under the bridge until rescued. 2 survived the 42m fall but 2 didn't. Still looking for one of them.

Canuck,

10:50pm!!!!!!!!

To tell the truth, I was watching the new Commander in Thief on the boob tube.

I was on at 5pm when Rat said he was going to be on for some practice, waited until 5:30, but he was a no show. I'll be on tonight for some practice with Gramps tactics.

Uuuuh, maybe I shouldn't do this.

Bright sunshine, Temp -8C, on the way to a high of about 0C. Nippy, but comfortable as the humidity is somewhere around 20-30%.

Sunshine every day since . . well . . maybe back in May?

You don't want to stick your tongue on this clansman

In the 1920's the bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world. Since 1992 it is the busiest border crossing in N. America.
