I had the wrong version of the No-CD fix for 1.2a on my website for a couple hours. If you put in the fix and 1.2a is still asking you for the CD, download it again (sorry! download )). Also if you copied it to your own web site could you make sure you have or put up the correct one, the .exe should be dated 10/14 and time around 5pm. DaveS

Got it now, thanks, haven't tried the other one anyway. Thanks for this!Where have you been the last year? Sorry, but I am always a bit suspicious when a "Giant Leap" in EAW is posted by someone who never showed up here - I don't mean that folks here are the only ones who know, no, I simply wonder.. well.. ah you know what I mean. And even more when it's a *.exe, for replacing the game's *.exe itself... makes me even more wondering if you are not somehow ... part of the programmers' team of the original game... and as they fired them all, well... Hmm... Stan ------------------ 'Tis but a scratch. Your arm's off!!! No it isn't Look, you stupid bastard, you've got no arms left. Yes I have. Look! Just a flesh wound. Stan, Dave has been around... I remember a while back I talked with him about the source code. One question Dave, do I need to download 1.2 to use 1.2a? Thanks, ------------------ JG300_Hartmann A.K.A. - Stephan jg300_hartmann@juno.com

Alain, you may put it on your site.Actually I do not know how it works with different languages. Does the text appear in French or English? It is possible there are some crashes with this new version. I wouldn't know how to fix them, so maybe it is just the price for having a better AI.
