Nice pics. I note that the F-16 held by the young lady has NAVY on it. Did this program ever go far with the F-16 do you know?

That's a F-16N...the Navy flew them for dissimilar ACM training at Top Gun out of Mirimar and Fallon NAS.
I'm pretty sure that due to budget cuts they no longer use the F-16s for that (back to F/A-18s)- I could be wrong.

No, the F-16N never could takeoff or land on a carrier. The gear isn't strong enough to survive the controlled crash of a carrier landing.

I read somewhere that all the F-16Ns have been retired, because the wings were wearing out due to their rather busy schedules.
