I have all four of the WW II sims-----EAW. SDOE,Janes, and CFS. Having been an Art Major in college----just the training for an Artillery Lt. in the army---I look at all games, with (IMHO) artist's eye. With the exception of flying at low altitudes, which most of these games don't stand up to anyway, EAW looks like one of those wonderful Aviation Paintings. (Read this comparison in a review once, and it was what intially hooked me. The other aspects of the game kept me playing. Buy some good quality computer photo paper and print some of your screen shots. You will be amazed. I have printed a bunch, bought cheap tasteful frames, and have them in my cave, and all over my grandson's room. He and his parents think they are great, and so do I. ------------------ Artillery adds dignity to what would otherwise be a vulger brawl!

Great shots, Redeye! I forgot to mention that I usually use the Windows paint to do some minor editing. If you inlarge to 400% you can round off the sharp angles, make B-17 and B-24 engines look round, add antenna wires to fighters, add engine fires, etc. I'm working on a Stuka airfield attack shot adding ground detail.Destroyed building interiors, fires, eplosions, vehicles, planes, etc. It is tedious work, but I will post when I feel it looks good enough.
