S! all.

Please allow me to introduce myself: I am an avid flightsimmer, and I was playing EAW for quite some time. Then I bought Falcon 4, and unfortunately I had to deinstall EAW. Donīt start shooting yet, the reason for this step was the fact that I had an awfully small harddrive, and it couldnīt be the home of both sims.
I do have a bigger harddrive now and I plan to reinstall EAW, since it has given me many hours of enjoyment. Actually I canīt wait to do so, since last time I played EAW it was far from what it is today, and Iīm eager to see what it has become.

During the last year or so I was lurking around at this very forum, but I posted only very little (actually pretty much nothing at all), since I didnīt really have the knowledge of EAW you people have and also I didnīt have any questions of course, since I didnīt play it.

Recently I felt that I should give something back to the flightsim community as a whole, no matter what particular game we like best. This is an outstanding community, and the people in this forum are way on top of this already good community.
I decided to build a website dedicated to flightsims. Not a real hardcore site, but a place to hang out, do some light reading etc. So I built the site and put it online today. However, large parts of it are still unfinished, one of those parts is the EAW section. I believe that EAW is one of the most important flightsims out there however, so I would like to get this section done next.

And this is where my little problem comes into play. Since I havenīt played EAW for such a long time Iīm lacking the expertise. I canīt really write tutorials or articles about it, and I donīt have much screenshots of it yet.
Therefore I would like to ask you good people here to kindly take a look at my site, and maybe help me build the EAW section for the good of all flightsimmers. I figured I ask the people of this very forum, since you are not only a knowledgeable but also very friendly (and wacky, lunatic, maniac ) bunch of people.

Well, please check out the site and let me know if you would like to help me out in some areas. Hopefully this will bring EAW closer to some people of the community who havenīt had the opportunity yet to play this great game.

Anyway, hereīs the link to my site: www.flightsimcafe.com

I would feel very honored if you good people decide to help me a little.
Let me end this post with another S!

S! Cookie, and welcome to the nuthouse

Hey, great site! I bookmarked it, very promising! If you can get all the sections up and running it could well become a must-visit flight sim site. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

As for the EAW section, I'm sure people here will be able to help you... lots of aces and good writers here (and I do not believe I'm one of them ), who surely will be glad to share their knowledge and passion.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for all your replies! I already received some nice files for my EAW downloads section, thanks a lot! I never would have thought that the amount of support and encouragement would reach this level. What can I say? S! to you all.

The upcoming week will be dedicated to the EAW section, hopefully I can get some stuff done. What I still need are articles, tutorials and maybe a screenshot or two. An FAQ is still missing too, unfortunately Iīd have real problems putting one together since I donīt know the answer to most questions myself (yet). If you would like to help me out with some of of these things, contact me at andre@flightsimcafe.com please.
Please also let me know if there are some important sites missing in my EAW-Links section. Chances are I left out some important ones, so please tell me if I should include some more.

I feel a little bad to ask you great people here for all this help, but so far the support from this group is plain astonishing.

Once again, thanks a lot everyone! What a great forum! S!

Uh oh, was that a threat? So far my EAW forum is a little quiet, the only person that showed up so far is Herr Oberst Karl von Hess. He already fetched himself a bottle of Schnaps and is asking for Apfelstrudel, but all I could come up with was this Ami thing called Popkorn...

Hmm...well, standard rules for Babe posts are either a) outrageous post count, i.e Rommel's 2600; b) important milestones in post count, i.e 500, 1000, etc. or c), oustanding contribution to the community. Most of your 300 posts weren't on this forum, alas, so usually that wouldn't qualify but since your site is great, well, look for the specially marked thread...

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.

If I will get any more babes like that one then I will work hard on reaching 500 as soon as possible. Of course I could also start to contribute something to this community, but then I figure itīs easier to reach 500 posts before that. And trust me, after that babe Iīll have 500 posts by tomorrow...
