I'm looking for the biggest, baddest, loudest engine sounds I can find (each type).

I want to rock the room and make some moose sit up and notice. I want people ducking on the other side of the hill. I want to drown out a rock concert, you hear me LOUD!!!!!

Who's engine sounds, which files, and where can I get?????

Mane...
I use "Bandits" Radial Engine Snd and "Cords" Inline Engine Snd as of now.
Not sure they "Rock" but both work best for me.

I got a 5 piece speaker system w/ subwoofer a while ago...and it made a big difference in the sound.
Just wrap yourself in all those speakers and now you are set...hehehe.
One great thing i found about my set also is the controls are on one of the speakers so i can adjust very easy and smoothly.

I have a Cambridge SoundWorks FPS1000 with the subwoofer under my chair, and all four speakers equal distance all around.

I'm using Bilko and Donster's engine sounds now, but looking for something louder.

I like Cord's Inline sound best for smooth sound...not choppy at all when i adjust the throttle and not over flanged like Meatwaters.
Also Bandit's Radial has a low growl that i love and it is smooth as well.
A friend and I tried to find the loudest sounds for engines a while ago because he can not turn his speakers up very often (PC in the livingroom) and he needed the loudness with out turning the whole sound up.
We found that Meatwaters 2.0 Inline (good but too much flange effect) and 2.5 Radial (good also but a little chop to the sound) to be the loudest.
I know this does not really help but...

Mane, sounds on the way.I sent the ww2 fighter sounds also. They seem to closely match what you hear on the incockpit views in the Roaring Glory viedo tapes.

Abe,

Got'em, thanks. The sounds are pretty good, but the spool up from 1/2 power to full doesn't seem to be what I thought it would be. Also I do remember a while back someone had an inline sound that would backfire if you throttled up to fast. Anybody else remember that?

Next stop after engines, guns and flak!!!

Anybody got any ideas on those?

Flak...and all other hits & explosions from "Cord's"...(make sure you get Snd 05,06,07 as well, if you have not already...little clunkin' noises from pieces hitting the ground after impact).

MG's...from "Pasha's"...a little soft and muffled but i love em' that way!

Cannons from "Cord's"...there are a few of these that sound good...seemed to my ear Cords had more power/edge.

I didn't care for how the WWII Fighters Engine sounds "spooled-up" either...kinda like it left me wanting just a little more "Power" sound from them...might just be my ear...The Inline is really good just something...eh..I don't know!
