People who dishonor veterans of US service will suffer the consequences from the people who respect them, the guys that died for the flag, and all it represents, deserve the very best, and not one bit less.

The questions stand, without any answers.

Come on now...go reread his story...

Most pilots when telling a story (especially dealing with the fact that they're about to auger a plane that costs our government a LOT of money) will become so techniical in their description of the event that it sounds like they're speaking in Algebra...

A monkey in the cockpit of a P38 with a pilot that's been drinking a case of beer?

GIVE ME A FUGGIN BREAK ALREADY!!!

Are you people really that gullible?

Wanna buy some swampland...how bout a bridge? I invented the internet...you know that?

My turn to brag...my grandfather was the CO of a Liberator Squadron in the Pacific Campaign...I never met him because he passed away before I was born, but there is an interview with him on the Kens Men website (http://www.kensmen.com/homefrontarticle.html) Which recounts one of his journeys. Now...if anyone would like to challenge this, I can easily show you the proof.

Why can't Trist(i)an?

Beery, you are not offended by this kind of stuff, you won't be, and I don't care about that.

I defend the honor of the man this person claims to be.

That matters to me.

In fact, if the person was who he claimed to be, I am sure he would see it my way, and why not? I am defending his honor...

I am here to speak for people like Lars, who are what they claim to be, patriots, and defenders of all that I know.

Go ahead, fight me on that, but fight the wind, I don't have anything else to say about your appathy, misdirection, and disrespect.

Tell that to the guys that flew in WWII. Make sure you tell them that history is fruitless...because any @$$hole can make up a story.

Better yet...tell that to all the pilots that are too DEAD to tell their tales...

Bah...this makes me ill...

You ever hear what happened to that guy that got caught running around telling everyone that he was on Seal Team 2? Some of the Seals found him and gave him a sound beating for claiming something that he wasn't...They were ALL acquitted. You think WWII vets who sweat blood and tears would appreciate some wannabe collecting on the glory of their fallen friends...

NOT BLOODY FUGGIN LIKELY!!!

My grandfather DIED for this country...if this IS just some story...he should have stated it as so. If not..he should be proud enough to step forward and tell everyone here to shut the hell up.

Monkeys in the cockpit...snork!

"I defend the honor of the man this person claims to be."

Not if you're wrong. If you're wrong, you're doing him a great disservice. The fact that you're so willing to take that risk on little or no evidence tells me that you have no regard for this man's service.

Pasha,

Here's the deal on slander. If you call someone a liar, that's slander unless you immediately provide verifiable proof. Not proof later, proof at the time the accusation is made. Slander is actionable and I don't need the legal headache.

Like I said before, I've been sucked-in by imposters and duped by misguided sociopaths, but you won't see me accusing someone of being a liar just because he tells a story that smells similar to those other ratbags' bull. I'll reserve my outrage until I have incontrovertible proof and then I'll expose the imposter to the community.

I'm 100% behind preserving the honor of our veterans, the active military personnel, retired military personnel, and especially the memory of those who died to preserve my freedom, but I won't allow you to attack the reputation of anyone, guilty or not, without proof.

In the event that you do produce proof, and you are indeed correct about this individual, you must still conduct yourself with civility on these boards. Threats, foul language, and accusations without proof are not allowed here.

Ok, well, I am the bad guy, it's ok for people to say what they want, and just walk all over someone who isn't here to defend themselves.

There is a monument being built, in Washington, in memory of the sacrifices of mostly kids, that held the world on their shoulders, and people here piss on that monument.

How shameful.

We'll let Pasha have the last word but I'd appreciate it if everyone would move on to the subject at hand.

Anyone else who wants to tell their personnel accounts would be well advised to do so in the Off Topic forum and to have all their credentials at the ready
