Well from what I have read on the other forums, like Rowan's B.O.B it seems to me that IL-2 beats ALL of the other 2ndWW sims hands down, and from the way this is shaping up it will be the only one worth owning, who would have dreamed that in 2000 we would welcome the words "The Russians are coming"......

Enjoy it while you can!

Surely some parasite Western company like Havas will buy them up and between a lunch in a Michelin restaurant and some afternoon golfing the game division manager will phone Oleg and tell him to get the IL-10 ready for shipment for a Christmas 2001 release no matter what. "Bugs? Don't worry Oleg, we can always say to customers their hardware is porked! And you just can't beat betatesting for free, keeps our shareholders happy. So just DO IT! Got to go, Miss Fifi is waiting."

Luckily, IL-2 is being published by Blue Byte, and their CEO is a big flightsim fan. They're not rushing Oleg.

That says it all if the CEO is gives the final sign off! If IL-2 has cutting edge GFX then they can stroke it till the cows come home and and it will be well recieved down the road.
I wouldn`t get to hyped though because you never know for sure.....cheers
