Topic: Night Landing & Unable to activate Red Stern lights

On the default Night time Carrier landing mission, there are vertical red lights on the stern from the beginning runway deck down to above water line indicating the back of the ship. I`ve been doing the slamer mission by Recluse, after I do the slams I do a Marshal to the Carrier. It is fairly dark by this time & I don`t see those red lights. There are standard landing runway lights. I`ve been told to begin landing by tower. I press "L" to get ILS aids going, Gear & hook down. Is there something I`m overlooking in comm sys, mission builder or NAV Aids to enable those red stern lights? They are quit usefull. Its pobably right in front of my nose.

Never mind last post I figured it out. I set the time 2 hrs later in the mission and the red lights are there. I guess the Commander of the flight deck figures that the pilots don`t need them till after 20:00.
