I thought some of you might be interested in a couple of books. I just ordered them myself. One is about the F/A-18 in particular and the FIGHTER HANDBOOK is a very good book on tactics from what i hear. I've been meaning to get SHAW'S book for a long time, back to the days when i was playing Air Warrior many moons ago. I put in the links if anyone is interested.

Hey, I have both of those books. They are GREAT!! The Jane's on on the F/A-18 doesn't have any tactics in The it though. The Tactics, and Maneuvering one is AWESOME!! It is the coolest, and most explanitory book I have ever read. If you can understand the termonalogy it will be really usefull.

Don't leave out another book by Shaw, "Fighter Combat", which is considered by many to be the definitive work on Basic Fighter Maneuvers.
