After I landing I am pressing "k" to apply full brakes. After I've come to a stop, the game seems to run as usual, but accepts no other keyboard input.
Any ideas?

Odd. Never heard of that one. Does it accept the escape key to let you exit the mission?

Could be you've filled up your keyboard buffer? Maybe if you wait a bit it'll start accepting input again.

Tap your NUM LOCK to see if it'll toggle.

Although being a standard practice to see if Windows has hung, I don't think F4 toggles the num lock key...

As for the original problem, might be a stupid question, but do you let go the K key before pressing another one?
