Needless to say that I am uterly pissed off it Hasbro's decision, it really goes to show the "short trem" mentality prevalent among some suits.I wonder what kind of morons are sitting on the board of Hasbro, but if I ever have the displeasure to meet any of them, I'll definitely let 'em have it (unfortunately, we are not in the same business so it's highly doubtful but you never know). They have just taken away our ability to access future great simulations and for that, I can comfortably say that "Hasbro can lick my nuts" Hope you morons go bankrupt and line up at a soup kitchen somewhere. To Gabe and the rest of the F4 team, I wish you the best and I will buy any simulation you guys decide to undertake. ------------------ Nick Moyrand

A great loss to the sim community. Gabe & Co., you have achieved something with F4 that few thought possible - Something which IMHO is unique within the field of combat simulations. I will definitely be on the customer list if / when you guys pull something new off. Best of luck to you all. To Hasbro's corporate moguls: You deserve to end up in Hell, with nothing but Barbie Fashion Designer to play for all eternity - now that's punishment. Breaking right. Gramkow

Ugh..I don't know what to say... I got a real bad lump in my throat reading about the lay off. What happened here? To all of the team that brought F4 to us: I'm sure I wasn't the one spending the most time in front of Falcon, but I still have very deep feelings about this sim. Even though I know it has its flaws it is still so painfully (now) obvious what it wanted to be. Never before did any team set out to reach such a bold goal in a sim or game; and in a genre that we all know isn't the biggest. You've showed everyone in this business how it's supposed to be done by never giving up and continuesly supporting the product to make it right. Many times in spite of, to a large extent, a hostile crowd. I want to make sure you leave this project behind with a feeling of belonging to something bigger: the shared vision of us that dare to dream and go to that extra lenght to make something no one else ever dared to make (or even had the know how), even if the risks are bigger. I'm sure you feel you've lost something now... but don't forget what you gained: immortality among us that love flight sims and our deepest respect. At least you have mine. Good luck what ever you do in the future. /P

This is a sad story. I understood that the graphics weren't sufficiant for ground combat in Falcon 3 but I can't see why HASBLOW should not benefit from the idea of creating a large electronic battlefield - maybe even only online and for extra money - just like warbirds. Is it, even after nearly 10 years after Falcon 3, still too early for such an project? Oh please, let's have Spectrum Holobyte back, give them the source of F4, create a solid and fast Database for all those F4-objects and let's finally the electronic battlefield come to life. greetings from Germany - Razor6 out

yargggllll.I bought Falcon4. I think this was the last product i'd buy from hasbro. I didn't say that i wouldn't run hasbro new products on my computer. But paying for them ? I don't know... What hasbro has done to Microprose is terrible. No words can describe this. DoLooP from France.

Yes, this really is a bummer. Hasbro screw you and your actions.Falcon 4.0 is a piece of art and a very deep simulation. Quantity rules over quality in the minds of the suits. I guess that is why they are suits. They are without soul. This is just synonomous with the U.S. society in general and the downward spiral of greed we are in.

To Gilman, Gabe, and the designers and programmers of Falcon:I salute you. You have been wronged. Good luck, and may you all rise like a phoenix. To Hasbro and the little minded bean counters: NOW YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR LACK OF VISION! Hellburner. Leading the ArcLight raid to Rhode Island. Out.
