Bat - you are misinformed. There is no "1.09" in the works.MPS has not offered any information as to how or when any of the enhancments will be released as a patch for F4. Obviously if F4 and F-15 are to connect there will have to be some kind of patch to allow this, but other than that there hasn't been any announced plans regarding future updates to F4. ------------------ Eric Marlow aka "Snacko" Contributing Editor - COMBATSIM.COM iBeta - Director of Technology

Dear morons,Shut the heck up and stop talking about another patch. Stop your bitching and just play the damn game and be happy. We have all received more than our money's worth with Falcon 4. Just quit griping and complaining and get over it. You all are a bunch of sick individuals that are badly in need of counseling/mental health services. Its a game, that's all.

Gabe in the flight sim newsgroup mentioned (a few days ago, maybe a week now) that MPS has no intention of dropping Falcon4. They will continue to support it. Does that mean patch 1.09? Or a patch when F-15 is released. Who knows. But Falcon4 still isn't dead.

Sponge :You really don't know very much, do you? Here it is: I would like to design a 2-day long TE mini-campaign. Because each patch changes things, it is POINTLESS to put all that work into it unless I know 1.08 will be the last patch for a long time. The group working on the HEX code would like to know if the code is now stabilised to be able to actually put their backs into producing definitive utilities which can be used...and will be able to be used for a long time. We would like to know if we should continue to look for workarounds for bugs/design flaws that still persist, or to wait to see if the next patch (if any) will sort them out. I agree that if patch 1.08 delivers most of what is intended, MPS will have (eventually) delivered on their promises. I must confess I didn't think they would. It IS only a game, like lots of other things we think are important. It's about satisfaction, fun and the sense of achievement and understanding. Should it bother you if it's F4 that delivers that rather than football, work, and so on? Alex.

Just got this off the newsgroups this morning, someone was asking about 1.09:----------------------------------------- 1.08 is not the last patch. We will continue to support the product as we've been doing. Gabe Turk Hasbro Interactive-MicroProse

Ibeta test what the developers ask them to test. They don't have any inside info. Even though the act as if they do. As seen in the above beta team members post, His info is wrong. We have notice a lot of this. Look at me stuff I am an ibeta tester. They are told what they need to know and that is all. As for the future of Falcon4 the ibeta memebers are clueless and have no ground to speak on this subject.
Any info released by them is pure guess work. And with NDAs in place they should not be leaking info or commenting on what they think they know. Most of them time the info leaked by them is in error. As we can see above. It would be so nice if they just did what they asked to do. Test and report what they find to the developers and not to the public. It is not Ibeta that finds and fixes bugs they report what they find to the internal testers. So don't be misled. By false reports. Its too bad they want to act if they have inside info. Do your jobs. We don't need you all to leak wrong info or any info for that matter to us all we want is a working product. If we want good info we will turn to the people that really know the deal and thats Gabe and No.19 IOC
